Loved getting to know Kaitlin and Ryan and their energetic dog, Cody. The forecast called for thunderstorms but it turned out to be a beautiful night for an engagement session in Grand Rapids. We finished just in time for them to attend the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert and even saw Flea earlier in the day. It was great to see so many people downtown. Kaitlin and Ryan are a fun couple! Can’t wait for their wedding in June.

Love watching families grow, especially a sweet wedding couple we photographed from 2006. They have a precious daughter who enjoyed looking for birds during the shoot… or were they butterflies or planes? It was so cute!
